Website & App Deployment takes a finished website or application and gets it running reliably on a server, with your domain connected and SSL in place. It covers everything from a single static site to a multi-service application of up to 4 services running in Docker containers.
We review your code, its dependencies and the hosting you have chosen, then configure the server, database and domain. From the Professional tier we set up CI/CD so changes pushed to your repository are deployed automatically, and the Advanced tier adds Docker set-up with separate staging and production environments.
This is deployment and hosting set-up for websites and applications; we do not design enterprise cloud architecture. Tiers are a scope guide with starting prices, and the final price is confirmed in your quote. You receive a working deployment and, from the Professional tier, documentation for future releases.

Why is deployment priced 'from'?
The tiers are a scope guide with starting prices. The number of services, the database and how ready your code is for deployment all affect the effort, so we review your repository and confirm the final price in a quote.
Are revisions included?
Revisions do not apply because the deliverable is a working deployment. If your requirements grow, for example an extra environment or another service, we confirm it as an add-on or an updated quote before continuing.
Do you design large cloud infrastructures?
No. This service covers deployment and hosting set-up for websites and applications. We do not design enterprise cloud architecture, such as multi-region networks or organisation-wide platform planning.
Are hosting fees included?
No. Hosting and cloud fees are billed by your provider to an account you hold. Keeping the account in your name means you retain control of the infrastructure after handover.
Will my code need changes before it can run in Docker?
Sometimes. Some applications need configuration moved into environment variables or a build step adjusted. We identify any changes during the review and include them in the quote so they are agreed before work starts.
