Arduino, ESP32 & Embedded Prototyping
Firmware for Arduino, ESP32 and ATmega prototypes, from single-sensor builds to multi-sensor wireless devices simulated in Proteus.
Custom quote after a short consultation · Timeline agreed in your quote
Scope: We focus on firmware, prototyping and simulation (Arduino, ESP32, ATmega, Proteus). We do not offer production PCB design or manufacturing; we can work alongside your hardware partner.
Overview
This service is about the device itself: the firmware that runs on a single microcontroller board, reads sensors, drives motors, relays or displays, and talks to a phone or local network over Wi-Fi or BLE. It suits proof-of-concept builds, test rigs, demonstrators and early product prototypes. If you need a group of devices sending data to dashboards and alerts, our IoT Solutions service covers the wider system.
We work with Arduino, ESP32 and ATmega microcontrollers. After confirming your board, components and the behaviour you need, we write structured, commented firmware, test each sensor and actuator driver separately, then integrate them. On the Advanced tier the circuit and firmware are simulated in Proteus so logic can be checked before you wire the hardware.
You receive source code, a wiring diagram and, where included, the Proteus project. This is firmware, prototyping and simulation work: hardware components are not supplied, and we do not offer production PCB design or manufacturing, though we can work alongside your hardware partner.
Who it’s for
- Hardware start-ups building a first working prototype to test an idea
- Engineers who need a test rig or data logger without writing the firmware themselves
- Product teams whose existing prototype firmware needs restructuring or extending
- Training providers building demonstration units for workshops and exhibitions
Problems it solves
- Move from a breadboard idea to firmware that runs reliably
- Read several sensors and drive outputs without timing conflicts
- Add a display or a Wi-Fi/BLE link to an existing prototype
- Check circuit logic in simulation before buying and wiring parts
What RF ETS delivers
- Commented firmware source code for your Arduino, ESP32 or ATmega board
- Sensor and actuator drivers tested individually and together
- Wiring diagram showing pin assignments and connections
- Proteus simulation project on the Advanced tier
- Build and upload instructions for flashing the firmware
How we work
Specify board and behaviour
We agree the microcontroller, components, pin usage and exactly how the device should respond to inputs.
Write module by module
Each sensor, actuator, display or wireless function is written and tested as a separate module.
Integrate and simulate
Modules are combined into the full firmware, and on the Advanced tier the design is checked in Proteus.
Hand over for hardware test
We deliver code, wiring diagram and instructions, then help resolve firmware issues found during your bench test.
What we need from you
- The board and components you plan to use, with part numbers or datasheets
- A description of how the device should behave, including inputs, outputs and timing
- Your own hardware for physical testing, as components are not supplied
- Any existing code, schematics or photos of the current prototype
How pricing works
This work varies too much for fixed packages. We scope it with you, then send a written quote with price, timeline and deliverables before any work starts.
Tell us what you need
Use the quote form or book a consultation and describe your goal, constraints and deadline.
We scope it with you
We review your material and agree deliverables, assumptions and what is out of scope.
Written quote
You receive a fixed price or milestone plan, timeline and revision terms before any work starts.
Not included
- Hardware components and shipping
- Production PCB design or manufacturing
- Third-party costs: domains, hosting, paid plugins and themes, software licences, API or AI-model usage fees, data-provider credits
- Work outside the written scope agreed before work starts (handled as an add-on or a custom quote)
- Ongoing support after the delivery and launch-support window unless a support package is bought

Arduino, ESP32 & Embedded Prototyping: common questions
How is embedded prototyping priced?
The tiers above are a scope guide with 'from' prices based on the number of sensors and features. Unusual components, tight timing or extra wireless features add effort, so we confirm the final price in your quote after reviewing your parts list.
Do you design PCBs or manufacture the device?
No. We focus on firmware, prototyping and simulation with Arduino, ESP32, ATmega and Proteus. We do not offer production PCB design or manufacturing, and hardware components are not included, but we can work alongside your hardware partner.
How is this different from IoT Solutions?
This service delivers firmware for one device, including any local display or Wi-Fi/BLE link. IoT Solutions covers a connected system of several devices, plus data storage, dashboards and alerts, and is scoped through a custom quote.
What if we need another sensor once work has started?
Extra sensor integrations can be added as an add-on, confirmed with you before work continues. Revision rounds in your tier cover corrections to the agreed behaviour rather than new features.
Do you test on real hardware?
We develop against the board and components you specify and, on the Advanced tier, simulate the design in Proteus. Final testing happens on your hardware; we support you remotely and fix firmware issues found within the agreed scope.
