Scope: We support engineers, businesses and researchers. We do not write or complete graded academic work (assignments, theses or exams) for submission.

Overview

MATLAB and Simulink are widely used for modelling dynamic systems, designing controllers and analysing engineering data. We build scripts and models for tasks such as control-loop tuning, motor and drive simulation, signal processing, mechanical and thermal system behaviour, and post-processing of test results.

Each project starts with a clear statement of the system, its inputs, the assumptions and the questions the model must answer. We then build the script or block diagram in a structured, commented way, verify it against hand calculations or reference data where available, and present results as labelled plots. Advanced work adds parameter studies or optimisation to show how the system responds across a range of operating conditions.

You receive the source files, the plots and either code comments, a short report or a full technical report, depending on the tier. We support engineers, businesses and researchers; we do not write or complete graded academic work for submission.

Who it’s for

  • Engineering teams that need a system model or controller design without tying up in-house time
  • Product developers who want to compare design options in simulation before building hardware
  • Researchers who need simulation, analysis or plotting support for their own work
  • Businesses with existing MATLAB code that needs cleaning up, extending or documenting

Problems it solves

  • Understand how a system behaves before committing to a design
  • Choose controller gains and parameters backed by simulation results
  • Turn raw test data into clear, labelled plots and findings
  • Have models that colleagues can read, run and extend

What RF ETS delivers

  • MATLAB scripts or Simulink model files, structured and commented
  • Labelled result plots exported for reports and presentations
  • Parameter study or optimisation results on the Advanced tier
  • Short or full technical report covering method, assumptions and results
  • Notes on the MATLAB release and toolboxes the files require

How we work

  1. Define the system and questions

We agree the system boundaries, inputs, assumptions and the results you need the model to produce.

  2. Build the model

The script or Simulink diagram is written in clear sections, with parameters kept in one place for easy changes.

  3. Verify and run studies

Results are sanity-checked against hand calculations or reference data, then run across the agreed cases.

  4. Report and hand over

We deliver files, plots and the written explanation, and show you how to rerun the model with new values.

What we need from you

  • A description of the system, with equations, diagrams or datasheets where available
  • Any measured or test data the model should use or match
  • Your MATLAB release and the toolboxes you hold licences for
  • The specific outputs, plots or decisions the work should support
Pricing

How pricing works

This work varies too much for fixed packages. We scope it with you, then send a written quote with price, timeline and deliverables before any work starts.

  1. Tell us what you need

Use the quote form or book a consultation and describe your goal, constraints and deadline.

  2. We scope it with you

We review your material and agree deliverables, assumptions and what is out of scope.

  3. Written quote

You receive a fixed price or milestone plan, timeline and revision terms before any work starts.

Not included

  • MATLAB / toolbox licences
  • Graded academic work for submission
  • Third-party costs: domains, hosting, paid plugins and themes, software licences, API or AI-model usage fees, data-provider credits
  • Work outside the written scope agreed before work starts (handled as an add-on or a custom quote)
  • Ongoing support after the delivery and launch-support window unless a support package is bought

FAQ

MATLAB & Simulink Engineering: common questions

How is MATLAB and Simulink work priced?

Each tier above is a guide to typical scope with a 'from' price. Model complexity, the number of cases to run and the depth of reporting all affect effort, so we confirm the final price in your quote once we understand the system.

Can you help with my university assignment or thesis?

No. We support engineers, businesses and researchers, and we do not write or complete graded academic work such as assignments, theses or exams for submission. We are happy to help with non-assessed research or professional modelling work.

Do I need my own MATLAB licence?

Yes. To run the delivered files you need MATLAB, plus Simulink or specific toolboxes where the model uses them. Licences are not included, so tell us your release and toolboxes and we will build within what you have.

What happens if the model needs changes after delivery?

Your tier includes a set number of revision rounds for corrections and adjustments within the agreed scope. Adding new subsystems, extra models or further studies is quoted separately as an add-on before any extra work begins.

Can you work on a model we already have?

Yes. We can review, debug, extend or document existing MATLAB code and Simulink models. Share the files with a description of what needs to change, and we will include that in the scope of your quote.
