Technical SEO & Website Audit

A crawl-based technical and on-page review of your site, with every issue ranked by impact and a clear plan for fixing it.

Custom quote after a short consultation · Timeline agreed in your quote

Overview

A technical SEO audit tells you what is stopping search engines from crawling, indexing and understanding your website, and which of those problems matter most. It is a diagnostic service: RF ETS reviews the site and hands you a clear, prioritised list of what to fix, rather than changing anything on your live site.

We crawl the agreed set of URLs with SEO crawling tools, then check indexing signals, page speed, redirects, broken links, duplicate content and structured data. Your key pages get a manual on-page review of titles, headings and content structure, and on the Professional and Advanced packages we compare your site against selected competitors.

You receive a written report that explains each issue in plain language, shows where it occurs and ranks it by likely impact and effort. Starter and Professional audits end with a fix list; the Advanced audit covers up to 1,000 URLs and adds a 90-day action plan and a walk-through call, so your team or developer knows exactly where to start.

Who it’s for

  • Business owners who suspect technical problems are holding their website back in search
  • Marketing teams that need an independent, prioritised issue list before briefing a developer
  • Agencies that want a second technical opinion on a client site before planning SEO work
  • Companies preparing for a redesign or migration that need a baseline of current SEO issues

Problems it solves

  • Know exactly why important pages are not being indexed or shown in search
  • Spend developer time on the fixes that matter most instead of guessing
  • See how your site's technical health compares with direct competitors
  • Have a documented baseline before a redesign, migration or new content push

What RF ETS delivers

  • Crawl-based technical report covering indexing, speed, redirects, broken links and duplicate content
  • Manual on-page review of your most important pages (up to 30 on Advanced)
  • Competitor comparison against up to four sites on the Advanced package
  • Prioritised fix list ranked by impact and effort, with affected URLs listed
  • 90-day action plan and a walk-through call on the Advanced package

How we work

  1. Scope and access

We confirm the domain, sections and URL limit for your package, plus any competitors to compare against.

  2. Crawl and technical checks

SEO crawling tools map the site, then we check indexing, speed, redirects, broken links and duplicate content.

  3. On-page and competitor review

Key pages are reviewed by hand for titles, headings and structure, and benchmarked against chosen competitors.

  4. Report and action plan

Findings are ranked by impact and effort into a fix list or 90-day plan, with a walk-through call on Advanced.

What we need from you

  • Your website URL and any sections or subdomains to include or exclude
  • Read-only access to your analytics and search reporting accounts, if you want that data included
  • Names of competitors you want compared (Professional and Advanced)
  • Any known issues, recent changes or planned redesigns we should be aware of
Pricing

How pricing works

This work varies too much for fixed packages. We scope it with you, then send a written quote with price, timeline and deliverables before any work starts.

  1. Tell us what you need

Use the quote form or book a consultation and describe your goal, constraints and deadline.

  2. We scope it with you

We review your material and agree deliverables, assumptions and what is out of scope.

  3. Written quote

You receive a fixed price or milestone plan, timeline and revision terms before any work starts.

Not included

  • Implementing fixes (see On-Page SEO)
  • Paid SEO-tool subscriptions
  • Third-party costs: domains, hosting, paid plugins and themes, software licences, API or AI-model usage fees, data-provider credits
  • Work outside the written scope agreed before work starts (handled as an add-on or a custom quote)

FAQ

Technical SEO & Website Audit: common questions

How is the SEO audit priced?

The audit is sold as fixed-price packages based on how many URLs are audited and how deep the review goes; see the packages above. Implementation of the top five fixes is available as an add-on, and sites beyond the Advanced limit or with unusual requirements get a custom quote before work starts.

What happens if I need revisions or my site is bigger than expected?

Each package includes revision rounds on the report, for example to clarify findings or re-order priorities. If the crawl shows more URLs than your package covers, we tell you before going further, and you can narrow the scope, upgrade or accept a quoted extension.

Will the audit improve my rankings?

An audit identifies problems; it does not change your site, and no honest provider can promise rankings or traffic. Fixing the issues is a separate step: hand the plan to your developer, add our top-five-fixes implementation, or book On-Page SEO. Link building is not part of this service.

What is the difference between the SEO audit and On-Page SEO?

The audit is diagnostic: it reviews technical health across many URLs and tells you what to fix and in what order. On-Page SEO is hands-on: we rewrite titles, meta descriptions, headings and alt text on a set number of pages. Many clients start with the audit and use it to choose pages for On-Page SEO.

Do you need admin access to my website or hosting?

No. The audit works from the public site, so no admin access is required. Read-only access to your analytics and search reporting is optional but lets us confirm issues with your own data. Paid SEO-tool subscriptions are not included; if you want findings from a specific tool, you can provide access.
