Custom quote after a short consultation · Monthly care period

Overview

Website Maintenance & Support keeps an existing site updated, backed up and monitored after launch, and gives you a monthly block of hours for edits. It suits sites where nobody in-house has the time or access to apply updates safely, or where small content changes keep waiting in a queue.

Each month we apply core and plugin updates, run backups at the frequency of your plan and monitor uptime so problems are noticed. Your included hours cover content edits and small fixes; the Professional plan adds a monthly report, and the Advanced plan adds daily backups, speed checks and priority handling of requests.

Plans run as monthly blocks and are invoiced each month rather than charged automatically. New feature development beyond the included hours and hosting fees are outside the plan, and extra edit hours can be added when a busy month needs them.

Who it’s for

  • Small businesses whose website has no one assigned to keep it updated
  • Marketing teams that need regular content changes without hiring a developer
  • Owners of WordPress sites that rely on a range of plugins
  • Organisations that want a monthly record of the work done on their site

Problems it solves

  • Software kept current to reduce security and compatibility issues
  • Recent backups available if something goes wrong
  • Downtime noticed through monitoring rather than reported by customers
  • Small edits handled each month without separate quotes

What RF ETS delivers

  • Core and plugin updates applied each month
  • Weekly or daily backups, depending on your plan
  • Uptime monitoring for your site
  • A monthly block of edit hours
  • Monthly report (Professional and Advanced)
  • Speed checks and priority handling (Advanced)

How we work

  1. Onboard and review

We take access to your site and hosting, check its current state and set up backups and uptime monitoring.

  2. Agree a request channel

We confirm how you send edit requests and how hours are tracked against your monthly block.

  3. Monthly care cycle

We apply updates, run backups, watch uptime and complete your requested edits within the included hours.

  4. Report and renew

On plans with reporting we summarise the month's work, and the next monthly block is invoiced to continue.

What we need from you

  • Administrator access to your website
  • Hosting or server access for backups and troubleshooting
  • A single contact for sending and approving edit requests
  • Notice of planned campaigns or launches that affect the site
Pricing

How pricing works

This work varies too much for fixed packages. We scope it with you, then send a written quote with price, timeline and deliverables before any work starts.

  1. Tell us what you need

Use the quote form or book a consultation and describe your goal, constraints and deadline.

  2. We scope it with you

We review your material and agree deliverables, assumptions and what is out of scope.

  3. Written quote

You receive a fixed price or milestone plan, timeline and revision terms before any work starts.

Not included

  • New feature development beyond the included hours
  • Hosting fees
  • Third-party costs: domains, hosting, paid plugins and themes, software licences, API or AI-model usage fees, data-provider credits
  • Work outside the written scope agreed before work starts (handled as an add-on or a custom quote)
  • Ongoing support after the delivery and launch-support window unless a support package is bought

FAQ

Website Maintenance & Support: common questions

How do maintenance plans and billing work?

Each plan has a fixed monthly price shown in the packages above. Plans run as monthly blocks and are invoiced manually at the start of each period rather than charged automatically, so each month of care is confirmed before it begins.

What happens if I need more edit time than my plan includes?

Revision rounds do not apply to a care plan; instead, edits draw on your monthly hours. If a month needs more, extra hours can be added before the work begins. Larger requests such as new features are quoted separately.

Does the plan include building new features?

No. New feature development beyond the included hours is outside the plan, as are hosting fees. Small improvements can use your edit hours; anything larger is scoped and quoted as a separate project.

Which websites can you maintain?

The plans suit content-managed sites that need regular core and plugin updates, and are a natural fit for WordPress. We review your site during onboarding and confirm whether anything needs fixing before it can be maintained safely.

What does priority handling mean on the Advanced plan?

Requests on the Advanced plan are scheduled ahead of standard-plan requests in our work queue. It is not a fixed response-time commitment, but it does mean your edits are picked up first when work is waiting.
