Overview

A logo is the most visible part of a brand identity, but it only works when it is used consistently with the right colours and typefaces. This service designs your logo from a written brief and, on the higher packages, builds the small set of identity rules that keep it consistent across your website, documents and social channels.

We begin with a brief covering your business, audience, competitors and preferences, then develop distinct logo concepts rather than variations on one idea. You choose a direction, and we refine it through the revision rounds in your package. The Professional package adds a colour palette and font pairing; Advanced adds a mini brand guide and a social media profile kit.

Final logos are supplied in SVG, PNG and PDF formats suitable for screen and print. The Advanced package includes four concepts, a brand guide explaining logo use, colours and typography, and profile images for your social channels. Trademark searches, registration and printing are not included.

How we work

  1. Brand brief

You complete a short brief on your business, audience, tone, likes and dislikes.

  2. Concept development

We design distinct logo concepts, each with a short note on the thinking behind it.

  3. Refinement

You pick a direction and we refine it through the revision rounds included in your package.

  4. Final files and guide

Final logo files are exported, with palette, fonts, brand guide and social kit on higher tiers.

What we need from you

  • A completed brand brief: business name, what you do, audience and tone
  • Examples of logos or brands you like and dislike
  • Competitor names, so your mark stands apart
  • Any existing colours, fonts or assets that must be kept

How pricing works

This work varies too much for fixed packages. We scope it with you, then send a written quote with price, timeline and deliverables before any work starts.

  2. We scope it with you

We review your material and agree deliverables, assumptions and what is out of scope.

  3. Written quote

You receive a fixed price or milestone plan, timeline and revision terms before any work starts.

Not included

  • Trademark searches or registration
  • Printing
  • Third-party costs: domains, hosting, paid plugins and themes, software licences, API or AI-model usage fees, data-provider credits

FAQ

Logo & Brand Identity: common questions

How is logo design priced?

Packages are fixed-price, scaled by the number of concepts, revision rounds and identity assets included; see the packages above. Extra concepts and business card design are available as add-ons, and wider identity work such as signage or packaging is quoted separately.

What counts as a revision?

A revision is a round of changes to the chosen concept, such as adjusting shapes, spacing, colours or type. Each package includes a set number of rounds. A request for a completely new direction after a concept is chosen is treated as an extra concept, which we confirm with you before starting.

Do you check or register trademarks?

No. Trademark searches and registration are not included. We design original marks and avoid imitating existing logos, but we recommend a trademark search through a qualified adviser before you invest heavily in the brand. Printing is also outside this service.

How can I use the final logo?

How rights in the final approved logo pass to you is set out in your project agreement before work starts, so you know exactly how you can use the files across your business.

Which file formats will I receive?

Final logos are delivered as SVG for scalable use, PNG for web and everyday documents, and PDF for print suppliers. Advanced also includes the brand guide and profile images for your social channels.
