UI/UX Design

Screen designs, clickable prototypes and a simple style guide that show exactly how your website or app should look and work.

Overview

UI/UX Design produces the plans for a digital product before anyone writes code: the screens, the layout of each, and how a user moves from one step to the next. It suits teams who want to agree on the experience first, whether the build is handled by us later or by their own developers.

We begin with your goals, users and the key tasks the product must support, then map the user flow and design each screen. From the Professional package you receive a clickable prototype to test the flow, and the Advanced package covers up to 15 screens across desktop and mobile with a simple style guide of colours, type and components.

Every package includes the source files. This is a design service: front-end development and formal user research studies are not included, but the designs are prepared so they can move into development through our website or web application services.

Who it’s for

  • Founders who need to show how a product will work before funding the build
  • Software teams that need screen designs ready for their developers
  • Businesses redesigning a confusing website or app flow
  • Product owners who want stakeholder approval on a clickable prototype

Problems it solves

  • A shared, visual agreement on how the product should work
  • Fewer changes during development because screens are settled first
  • Consistent colours, type and components across every screen
  • A prototype stakeholders can click through before committing to a build

What RF ETS delivers

  • Designed screens, up to 15 depending on your package
  • Desktop and mobile layouts (Advanced)
  • Clickable prototype (Professional and Advanced)
  • Simple style guide covering colours, type and components (Advanced)
  • Editable source files with every package

How we work

  1. Goals and user flow

We review your goals, users and main tasks, then map the flow between screens before designing.

  2. Wireframe key screens

We lay out the structure of each screen so content and actions are agreed before visual styling.

  3. Visual design and prototype

We apply visual design to each screen and link them into a clickable prototype where included.

  4. Style guide and handover

We document colours, type and components where included and hand over the source files.

What we need from you

  • A description of the product, its users and their main tasks
  • Brand assets such as logo, colours and fonts, if available
  • Examples of products or screens you like or dislike
  • One decision-maker to consolidate feedback on each round
Pricing

How pricing works

This work varies too much for fixed packages. We scope it with you, then send a written quote with price, timeline and deliverables before any work starts.

  1. Tell us what you need

Use the quote form or book a consultation and describe your goal, constraints and deadline.

  2. We scope it with you

We review your material and agree deliverables, assumptions and what is out of scope.

  3. Written quote

You receive a fixed price or milestone plan, timeline and revision terms before any work starts.

Not included

  • Front-end development (see Website / Web App services)
  • User research studies
  • Third-party costs: domains, hosting, paid plugins and themes, software licences, API or AI-model usage fees, data-provider credits
  • Work outside the written scope agreed before work starts (handled as an add-on or a custom quote)
  • Ongoing support after the delivery and launch-support window unless a support package is bought

FAQ

UI/UX Design: common questions

How are UI/UX design packages priced?

Packages are fixed-price and based on the number of screens, the devices covered and whether a prototype and style guide are included. Compare the packages above and book directly; extra screens are available as an add-on.

How many rounds of changes are included?

The number of revision rounds depends on the package you choose, as listed in the comparison above. If the product's scope changes and new screens are needed, they are added as extra screens or confirmed in a short quote before design continues.

Will you also build the design?

Front-end development is not part of this service. The designs and source files are prepared for developers, and if you want us to build them, our website and web application services can be quoted separately.

Do you carry out user research or testing?

Formal user research studies are not included. We base the design on what you tell us about your users, and the clickable prototype gives you a practical way to gather feedback from your own users or stakeholders.

What counts as a screen?

A screen is a distinct view a user sees, such as a sign-in form, a dashboard or a checkout step. A long web page usually counts as a single screen, while an app flow may involve several. We confirm the screen list before work starts.
