Overview
Market and competitor research gives you a structured view of who you are up against, what they offer, how they price it and how they present themselves. It supports pricing decisions, positioning, new market entry and sales conversations where buyers compare you with alternatives.
We agree the competitors and research questions with you, then study each one using publicly available sources such as websites, published price lists, product pages, marketing materials and public filings. Each competitor gets a consistent profile and a side-by-side offer and pricing comparison. From the Professional package upwards we also analyse positioning and messaging and add recommendations.
The Advanced package covers up to ten competitors and adds a market overview of the segment, followed by detailed recommendations on where you could differentiate. You receive a written report with a comparison table and source references, so your team can check and refresh the findings later.

Market & Competitor Research: common questions
How is competitor research priced?
Packages are fixed-price and scaled by the number of competitors and depth of analysis, from profiles and pricing through to a market overview and detailed recommendations; see the packages above. Extra competitors can be added individually, and broader studies are covered by a custom quote.
Can we swap competitors or add questions later?
Revision rounds cover clarifications and changes to the report. Swapping a competitor before research on it begins is usually straightforward; adding competitors or new questions once work is underway is handled as an add-on and confirmed with you first.
What sources do you use?
Research uses publicly available sources only. We do not access confidential information or use paid market-research databases unless you provide access, and we do not run primary surveys or interviews. Where a competitor does not publish pricing, the report says so rather than inventing a figure.
Will we be able to update the research ourselves later?
Yes. Profiles follow a consistent structure and key findings carry source references, so your team can revisit the same pages and refresh the comparison when competitors change their offers.
